I came across your website. I am also researching the Figliolas from Agropoli, Italy. My Peter had two dau, Rose and Marianne who came to the U.S. early 1900’s. Would love to hear from you to see if thee is a connection. Thank you for your time.

    • Hello Sue!

Thank you so much for your comment. I only seem to have one Peter Figliola in my tree and he was born in Pennsylvania in 1910. There is a website run by Anthony Vermandois which I found to be of great help in researching my ancestors from Agropoli. The site is called Imagines Maiorum and the page for the Figliola surname is here.

I will definitely let you know if I come across anything. If you are at a brick wall with your Figliola line please let me know and I will do my best to help.

      Best wishes – Kristin

Matteo Giordano is my great grandfather who married a D’Augtino. I have been to Agropoli and have records back to 1790. Please contact me as I would love to extend both of our family trees.
    Thank you.

    • Hi Vera,

Thanks for contacting me. Matteo Giordano married Raffaela D’Agosto. Raffaela is my 3rd great grand aunt. I have Matteo’s parents as Raffael Giordano and C. Pecura. I would love to hear from you further.

      Thanks,

      Kristin
